The client needed to build a robust corporate and compliance structure to handle crypto-to-fiat conversions at scale, with the key goal of launching a global money transfer service and reaching a broader market. To support its expansion, Atlantic Exchange had to proceed with a Canadian Money Services Business (MSB) registration with FINTRAC and confirm full compliance with AML and CFT requirements.
Our role was to establish a tailored corporate and licensing structure that would position the client’s Canadian company as a regulated entity operating in full adherence with the robust FINTRAC standards. We successfully prepared and filed their MSB incorporation, provided comprehensive advisory on the mandatory compliance frameworks, and supported the client through to their official business launch. Today, Atlantic Exchange performs as a fully compliant, active fiat-to-crypto-to-fiat corridor equipped for further scalability across Europe and other global markets.
